However, the North Korean Consul General of Vladivostok, Hwang Chi-seong feels threatened by Geon's investigation. He looks for dirt in hopes to get rid of Geon and discovers that his former lover, Chae Seon-hwa, is an informant to the South Korean NIS Agent, Manager Zo. Chi-seong uses this information to corner Geon. An unlikely joint operation ensues to take down Consul Chi-seong, who is willing to protect his kingdom at all cost.
