Dark Season is a British teen science fiction television serial created and written by Russell T Davies, and broadcast on BBC One from 14 November to 19 December 1991. Comprising six 25-minute episodes, the two linked three-part stories follow three teenagers—Marcie, Thomas and Reet—and their battle to save their school and their classmates from the sinister Mr Eldritch.

A secondary school receives the gift of personal computers for every student from mysterious entrepreneur Mr Eldritch. However, Marcie Hatter is suspicious of Eldritch's generosity, especially after one of her friends starts acting strange.

Marcie and her friends continue investigating Eldrich after their friend Olivia appears to be hypnotised. Meanwhile, Eldrich and his associate search for Professor Becjinski, a disappeared scientist whose work they're continuing.

After Reet is kidnapped, Olivia and Thomas break into Eldritch's castle to save her and stop his evil plan.

In the aftermath of Mr Eldritch's failed plot, the school is beset by a militaristic group of blonde archaeologists led by the terrifying Inga, seeking an ancient being called the Behemoth and bring about the end of the century.

The true nature of the Behemoth is revealed but to be reborn, it needs a perfect human vessel. After the Chosen One breaks his arm, the archaeologists kidnap Thomas to take his place.

The Behemoth rises, tearing through the school but it refuses to blindly follow the villains' orders, and must choose between Marcie and them. What ensues is the debate for the end of the world.
