Meet the Parents

On tonight's first show we have. Picker: Lewis Blissett from London. Families: Mum Sue and dad Jay with daughter Imani from Bedfordshire. Mum Helle with daughter Suzie from London. Mum Claire and dad Paul with daughter Hollie from Chichester. Picker: Suzanne Haynes from Birmingham. Families: Mum Rebecca and dad Ron from Worcester with son Adam from London. Mum Catherine and sister Cath with son and brother Paddy from Lancashire. Mum Kerry and dad John with son Jack from Hertfordshire.

While the parents are being quizzed, the guys and girls hoping to be chosen see and hear everything, and have no control over what their parents are revealing. However, if mum and dad go too far, they can make just one urgent phone call to speak to them. Will these parental confessions help or hinder their kids' chances of finding love? Once the picker has finished grilling the parents, they make their decision. Though before they come face-to-face with their date, they get to meet the ones they turned down. Will they have made the right decision as they head straight from the studio to the date hopefully hand in hand?

In their quest to find love, nothing is off limits, as the picker looking for romance gets to ask their potential suitors' parents anything. Mum and dad then get busy spilling the beans, on everything from their off-spring's relationship history and grooming habits, to questionable celebrity crushes and cringe-worthy childhood stories.
