On the evening of 27 September 1994 the M / S Estonia left the port in Tallinn. On board were 989 people. Only 137 would survive the night. 852 people lost their lives in the biggest disaster in Swedish history and the largest ship sinking in Europe in peacetime.

Gnomes is an American 1980 animated film, based on the book of the same name by the Dutch Wil Huygen and Rien Poortvliet. The movie was nominated for an Emmy in 1981 for Outstanding Animated Program. Several years after this film was released, the television series, The World of David the Gnome was created, which was also based on the same novel.

The show is filmed in front of an audience, where the audience are shown the interviews via video link as part of the filming.
